Rigatoni

There's this little casual eatery in Beaverton that we went to called Noodlin'. Nothing special, just a small order-at-the-counter-and-go-sit-down kind of place. There's a little "history of pasta" wall near the counter. The family seemed to really like it... we went back a second time for an early supper before heading home towards Seattle. I'd go there again on my next visit.

I should've snapped a picture... the door handles are 24-inch long, 4-inch wide rigatoni noodles. Interesting little touch.

On their soft drink cups, they print random factoids and quizzes about pasta and the like. On my cup, the quiz was this: What is "Endosperm"?
a. an Italian fertility clinic
b. a grunge rock band
c. the 'heart' of a wheat kernel
d. an undesirable side effect from too many x-rays
