Frankenphong

I removed the sutures from my finger yesterday. Snipped them with a nail clipper, doused a bit of hydrogen peroxide on each one, and plucked them out with tweezers. The wound feels like a big callous: rough and numb-like. Every day, I'm getting more and more feeling out of my fingertip, and I'm able to extend it outward a bit more. It's slowly working it's way back into regular use, instead of always "lifting" it out of the way when picking things up, etc.

I called my doctor's office yesterday to cancel my Monday appointment. I was to have my stitches removed at that time. Saved me $25 just on the copay alone. As my friend says, "I'm so chinese-y". True that.
